Freqeutnly Asked Questions
1
Submission Policy
For legal reasons, we do not accept unsolicited demos/submissions. We only accept submissions from established channels (eg. Managers, Agents, Lawyers that are known to us). We make a concerted, active effort to identify and develop the best talent in the world. We understand that policies like this are frustrating for emerging artists. Our advice is this: share your music, build relationships within your local creative community. We will find you.
2
What sounds are you using?
We source our sounds from a wide variety of analog and software instruments, and we lean heavily on our own custom sound libaries that are not available commercially. We generally avoid commercially available loops/one-shots/presets (eg. Splice) and prefer to design our own patches and samples.
3
What equipment are you using?
We use a combination of Pro Tools and Ableton Live, and regularly use plugins from companies like Metric Halo, Waves, SoundToys, AIR Technologies, XLN Audio, STL Tones, Neural DSP, FabFilter, and LennarDigital. This list is not exhaustive. We maintain a large collection of vintage synthesizers, guitars (primarily Fender, Gibson, and Taylor), and analog outboard across our facilities around the world.
